Exhibitor’s Stories
Wearable paper dresses that are carefully folded in a book
Actually, paper is a good insulator that has applications in everyday life. For instance, paper-made sleeves for hot beverage cups commonly known as java jackets allow consumers to hold the hot beverage. This property led Japanese designer Masami Takahashi to develop real couture with paper, which is printed, curt, folded, and stored in the form of a book. The Book on Dress is a collection of colourful, paper-thin, ready-to-wear dresses, which can be torn out of the book to be worn.
