Experimenting with Bamboo Paper: Gu

Gù, or strength, is a chair made of yuhang bamboo paper, walnut wood, and beech wood. Bamboo paper is manufactured in local paper workshops in the same way as it has always been made. Bamboo pulp is processed using traditional methods and is turned into the primary material for this furniture piece. Colours have been added to the bamboo pulp to give the final product a contemporary look. Besides the classic white, Gù chairs also come in many colours to suit every space. Gù bamboo paper products were designed by the team of Pinwu of Hangzhou, China.
