Experimenting with Bamboo Paper: Luo

Luò, or descend, is a lamp made of yuhang bamboo paper, which is manufactured in local paper workshops in the same way as it has always been made. Traditional craftsmanship liberated the two-dimensional bamboo paper and turned it into a three dimensional product. Simplicity in design and the paper’s natural finish make every lamp a unique and poetic work of art. The Luò lamp was designed by the team of Pinwu of Hangzhou, China.
