Eco-friendly building material coming from rice fields
From Thailand, the world’s largest exporter of rice, comes an ingenious solution to a perennial agricultural waste problem. Rice husk is turned into mosaic tiles, which are available in four earth tones. The Husk Collection, the namesake bio-composite product, is durable and light, and contains 22% rice husk produced during rice milling. The Husk Collection was created by Sonite Innovative Surfaces Company Ltd.
