Saudade is a brand of organic tea. Its commitment to Japan is evident in its packaging, designed by one-stop Japanese design agency canaria inc. On one side of the packaging, watercolour landscapes show where the tea leaves are from. Motifs include tea plantations, famous natural landmarks, and flora and fauna associated with the tea-producing region. On the other side are pop and impressionist drawings of the leaves, the environment and terroir, and the fruit grown in the region. This modern bilingual packaging for Japanese tea is a first in Japan, and promotes their centuries-old green tea tradition and culture worldwide.  Tea drinkers can take a break from their busy lives and enjoy both the tea and its handsome packaging. By sourcing the finest Japanese teas and marketing them globally, Saudade aims to link all tea connoisseurs in the appreciation of fine green tea.
