Circle is an oval mirror with a bamboo frame and a cylindrical bamboo base. The bamboo’s flexibility and strength are highlighted by the thin strips of moso bamboo, processed by heat molding techniques, which extend down from the frame to join a hollow hand-carved bamboo tube providing storage for small items. Standing gracefully on its own, Circle is a functional piece that adds visual interest to any room.
