A MULTISENSORY FEAST
The exhibition tells the story of salted fish, a local delicacy and a symbol of Hong Kong’s past, from a new perspective with over 20 designs and creative products. DIY curing chambers and new salt-fish products are featured, giving the traditional ingredients a modern twist, and visitors can enjoy the exhibition not only visually, but also through scent and taste. It is an example of Hong Kong’s food culture reflecting design, creativity, and imagination in the relationship between tradition, an ever-changing society, and everyday objects.
