VOIDABLE
VOIDABLE; is repurposing the what are going to be trashed, inputting values, environmentally eliminating waste in the name of fashion through designs and process methods, and culturally showing what Hong Kong’s potential on sustainable fashion. Fabrics used in VOIDABLE; are sourced locally and biodegradable, the main material is leather leftovers from local furniture manufacturer, which is a protective, durable, and long-lasting animal product, paired with the vivid scrap pieces of cotton and denim.

The complexity, polarity, and varieties of fabrics represent the diversification of perspectives, and different patching and dying methods are used to visualise the concepts of perspectives and interpretations through the coat. Guangdong hand dyed mud silk is used for the proper suit with detachable hood and bias sleeves and trousers’ legs.
