    TouchAble Self-portrait

In the workshop, you will be invited to experiment a simple sensorial approach to discover facial features personally and transfer it on a paper. Instructor will guide you to be blindfolded and draw a self-portrait, to explore the complex relationship between touch, sound and one’s own inner voice. After completing the workshop, your finished drawing will be specially processed into a tactile artwork (a unique 2.5-D touchable art).

While Valentine’s Day is approaching, we have added a “Valentine’s Day Special” session and welcome couples, spouses, parents and children and friends participating together to share love and joyfulness.

    Remark:

    – Applicants will receive a preliminary confirmation email from Design Spectrum and must pay the required enrolment fee within the specified date for successful registration. First-come, first-served.

    – No refund for the enrolment fee.

    – Event will be conducted on ZOOM and meeting details will be shared by email.

    – Participants are required to prepare their own computer or other device with the Zoom Cloud Meetings app to participate.

    – Participants must participate in groups of two in the same place due to activities set-up.

    – Each participant will receive an event kit, including paper, marker pen and eye mask. And the tactile artwork will be delivered about three weeks after the workshop.

    – Event kit and tactile workshop will be sent by SF Express, self-pick up only (Self-pick up at SF Store locations, SF Service Partner locations or SF Locker locations). Please make sure to provide correct name, contact mobile number and SF self-pick up point code and address.

    – The content of the two sessions will be slightly different, in the “Valentine’s Day Special” session, participants will be guided to draw the portrait of their partners.

    – If participants are unable to attend the workshop due to illness or other special circumstances, participants are allowed to transfer their places once but please make sure that the participants meet the requirements of two people to participate in the same location together. Participants must inform Design Spectrum by email at least one working day before the event (i.e. 11th Feb).
