In ‘Pass The Baton’, please join us in imagining a better future as a collective. We have commissioned Essa, along with Samson and Homan, to design an installation and gather stories and ideas from you. With the assistance of AI, we aim to generate a collection of images that visualise the ideal futures.

The Prophetic Archives

How can we collectively preserve local cultures and live sustainably? By observing our communities and environments, how can we imagine new futures while incorporating the essence of our lifestyles here in Hong Kong? The Prophetic Archives will collect the collective wishes and memories of Sham Shui Po and Lai Chi Kok. Under three themed predictions – Natural Energy Resources, Urban and Rural Futures, and Intangible Values – a series of AI-generated presentations will be showcased in two phases. Phase I will present predicted futures from the design unit, while Phase II will unveil the collectively harvested, imagined, and generated futures of our Kowloon neighbourhoods.
