Exhibitor’s Stories

This collection highlights Nantong Blue Calico, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage item and with the theme of bridal outfits. The design is evolved from the outerwear of WHY’s previous collection, INDIGENOUS, modifying the Chinese-style tailoring and layering proportions of ethnic clothing and matching western-style shirts and trousers. This fusion of traditional culture and modern tailoring transforms the garments into solemn and extravagant wedding attire.
