【Pass The Baton】Design Spectrum x ‘A Light Never Goes Out’: Screening & Sharing

‘A Light Never Goes Out’ tells the history of neon sign design, showcases the dazzling beauty of Hong Kong’s neon signs, reflecting the city’s cultural shifts and the legacy of traditional crafts amidst modernisation through its characters’ emotional struggles, revealing touching stories hidden beneath the craft and culture.

Cardin Chan, General Manager of the neon light conservation organisation Tetra Neon Exchange, and Michael Leung, Curator of ‘Passing the Baton’ Exhibition will join us in the post-screening sharing session. They will explore the past, present, and future of Hong Kong’s neon light culture and how conservation can provoke thought and dialogues to change people’s perceptions of Hong Kong’s neon signs.
