Formulate Happiness

“Formulate” is a full spectrum self-exploring sensual journey while creating a scent that is yours alone. It is the brainchild of our collaborating team of perfumer, chemist and designer, after the years of experience sharing our know-how.

Together we will take you on a journey from start to end, guiding you through a creative process, from concept to inspiration board and finally your finished scent.

Glean inspiration from our SENSORY VAULT, using our array of colors, textures and objects available as sensual stimulus to get you started. Metals, wood, leather, spices and more are available to guide you to explore your senses. Along with our COMPANIONS specialists you will create a bespoke room spray with our library of IFRA certified aroma materials, a CODE CARD that records your creative process, and your collectable CODE bottle (2ml concentrated perfume oil) that represent your creation.

And you are always welcome to refill your happiness smell with your own formula in the future. The experience changes with the seasons, mood and time, no two themes will yield the same scent.

Remarks for Participants:

A. All participants are required to take temperature check before admission. Participants with fever symptoms will not be admitted.

B. All participants must sign a form confirming they have not confirmed infection for Covid-19 and/ or been under compulsory quarantine imposed by the Department of Health. Hong Kong Design Centre reserves the final right for permission of entering the workshop venue if you are not able to complete or confirm the matters as set out in this form.

C. All participants must wear a mask at all times during the activity. Eating and drinking is not allowed. Participants without wearing a mask will not be admitted.

D. Participants are encouraged to use alcohol hand sanitiser before entry.

E. In light of the current pandemic situation, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change any details such as dates of all events. Participants will be notified through emails or phone calls.
