【The Full Gamut】Crafting with Fabrics @ Blue House: Papercutting Workshop

Too much clothes at home? Let’s take unused garments from your home as inspiration to make beautiful home decorations.

Blue House resident Nicholas Tsao will lead a tour of Blue House to explore the fashion elements in the community. After that, he will teach participants how to draw their own papercutting designs, referencing the fashion and garment elements of the Blue House Cluster, and then digitise these designs to produce bespoke papercutting works, using a blade-cutting machine.

Remarks for Participants

– Each participant please bring along an unused thin garment as workshop material (e.g. t-shirt or shirt).

– Participants will receive the final papercutting works by mail or may choose to pick them up in person at Blue House “The Hong Kong House of Stories” after 2 days upon completion of the workshop.

– Upon completing the registration, the participant is deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions of the event, the official rules as stipulated and to those that may be later introduced by the Organiser.

– Each participant will complete one papercutting sculpture in the workshop.

– The Organiser reserves the rights of final decision on terms and conditions without prior notice.
