Exhibitor’s Stories
Consumer awareness of sustainability and the environmental impact of their clothes is at an all-time high, yet 92 million tons of textile waste are still generated by the fashion industry each year – the equivalent of one garbage truck per second going to landfill.
Kitdo was created with the belief that fashion sustainability is not in creating a new recycled item nor contributing to additional textile waste but in restyling existing pieces in one’s wardrobe, for a circular economy. It is a consciously-produced styling accessory made with lightweight aluminium and magnet inserts. Plated with a PVD (waterless) coating, each piece is individually made with the CNC machine. Inspired by natural hag stones, Kitdo is made to personalise style to the tastes and aesthetics of the wearer.
