Exhibitor’s Stories

Inspired by Miao embroidery, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage item which is a galore historic and culturally significant embroidery techniques passed down through generations of skilled embroiderers. This collection infuses this craftsmanship into fashion design. The collaboration incorporates traditional Chinese elements such as mandarin collars and Youren (right lapel) and merges them with contemporary fashion design, resulting in works that are both contemporary and timeless. By seamlessly blending fabric and embroidered cloth through meticulous design and pairing, it integrates traditional craftsmanship into fashion design, presenting a unique style with a Chinese aesthetic. Throughout this collaboration, the aim is to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of Chinese traditional culture while revitalizing conventional Chinese craftsmanship.
